Our Story

Hi, I’m Lexie Engel, the owner of Glow Girl Tanning.

My love for spray tanning started long before Glow Girl existed. I’ve always loved the confidence a good tan can give you. When my husband and I moved back to his hometown of Goochland County, I quickly realized there were no local spray tanning options. So at six months pregnant, I decided to start one myself—crazy timing, I know, but it turned out to be the perfect moment to bring something new to our community.

Glow Girl was created to provide luxury, customized spray tans that look natural and are tailored to each client’s unique skin tone and tanning goals. I believe a great spray tan should never be one-size-fits-all, and my goal is to help every client leave feeling confident with a flawless glow.

When I’m not spray tanning, I work as the Marketing and Operations Director at Habit Med Spa. What can I say? I am a skin enthusiast! Outside of work, I’m a wife, a mom to two boys, and a proud aunt to six nieces and nephews who keep life busy and fun.

Our Services

At Glow Girl, every spray tan is fully customized to your unique skin tone and tanning preference to ensure a natural, flawless glow. We carefully select the right solution and depth of color so your tan complements your complexion and develops beautifully. For your convenience, appointments can be booked mobile, where we come to your home or preferred location and set up everything needed for your spray tan. If you’d rather step away and enjoy a little time to yourself, you’re also welcome to visit me for your appointment at my home studio in Goochland County. No matter which option you choose, the goal is the same—a seamless, personalized spray tan experience.

  • Located in Goochland County right off the Gum Spring exit - I offer the option for clients to come to me for their spray tan in the comfort of my home. I know that while mobile appointments are convenient, sometimes it’s nice to get out of the house and take a little time for yourself.

    These appointments take place at my home studio. Once your appointment is booked, you will receive a confirmation with the exact address and location details.

  • Send us a message or a booking request for a mobile appointment, all mobile appointments must be approved before booking is confirmed. We’ll come directly to you and set up everything needed so you can enjoy a flawless spray tan in the comfort of your own home. Bring all your friends together for a night of tans, or book one just for yourself!

  • Whether you’re getting ready for a wedding, celebrating a bachelorette, or planning a girls’ night, we offer group bookings. We can come to you, or you can bring the party to us, the choice is yours!
