We recommend wearing dark, loose clothing to your session to avoid rubbing off your new spray tan and staining your clothes. During the application process, we recommend wearing a black bikini, a dark-colored thong, or, best of all, your birthday suit to avoid tan lines.
-
We recommend 2-3 days before your big day; however, we know life can be crazy! We offer a rapid solution that develops rapidly in 2-4 hours instead of the traditional 8-hour developing solution. We recommend a rapid solution the day before if you are on a time crunch!
-
We encourage everyone to check with their doctor before booking their spray tan. We use a tanning solution that is paraben, gluten, fragrance, and preservative-free. We use the cleanest solution available on the market. We do recommend waiting until 15 weeks to get your glow on!
All spray tan solutions contain DHA, so please be aware that there is no such thing as an organic tanning solution. All tanning solutions contain this chemical in order to generate your tan.

Prep + Post Care:
-
Exfoliate thoroughly
Focus on dry areas: elbows, knees, ankles, hands
Use a scrub or exfoliating mitt (no oily products)
Hair removal (if needed) and Pedicures BEFORE your appointment:
Shave or wax at least 24 hours before
This prevents irritation and dark pores
-
Come completely clean
Shower with no soap residue, oils, or conditioner left on skin
Do NOT apply:
Lotion
Deodorant
Perfume
Makeup
Wear loose, dark clothing
Think oversized tee, sweatpants, slides
No tight bras/leggings (they can cause lines)
-
Right Before Your Tan:
Leave the jewelry at home
Bring or wear dark underwear or bikini bottoms, or plan on going naked to avoid tan lines!
-
Immediately After:
Stay dry until your rinse time
Wear loose, dark clothing
Avoid sweating or skin-to-skin contact
When to Rinse (VERY important):
Your artist will tell you based on depth:
1–2 hours → light tan
3 hours → medium
4–5 hours → dark
Do NOT go longer than recommended as it can cause your tan to overdevelop.
First Shower:
Quick rinse with lukewarm water only
No soap, no shaving
Rinse until water runs clear (bronzer coming off is normal)
After Rinse:
You may not look super dark yet — color develops over the next 12–24 hours
Wait 12–24 hours before using soap
Remember it is a rapid rinse, not a rapid development. Your full tan will be developed 24 hours after your appointment.
First 24 Hours:
No workouts
No water except your rinse
Avoid tight clothing, bras, leggings
After First Shower:
Moisturize daily (this keeps it even)
Use gentle, non-exfoliating body wash
Avoid:
Long hot showers
Pools/hot tubs (fade fast)
Scrubs or exfoliating products too early
No workouts
No water except your rinse
Avoid tight clothing, bras, leggings
-
Immediately After:
Same rules: stay dry, loose clothes, no sweating
When to Rinse:
Wait 8–12 hours (or overnight)
First Shower:
Lukewarm rinse only
No soap or products
After Rinse:
Full color shows pretty quickly after shower
Continue developing slightly over next several hours
